We are now looking for a Senior Release Manager
About the role
We’re expanding our Release management team and looking for a Senior Release Manager with a strong build engineering background. We expect you to improve our current release management pipeline by refining processes, defining and setting release standards, and guiding the release management team. Your mission is to ensure updates are released on time, meet quality standards , and stay compliant across all platforms and projects.
What you'll do
- Lead the full release management cycle across multiple platforms and projects.
- Own and drive long-term release plans by aligning with internal teams and external partners around deliverables, timelines, and submission requirements.
- Partner with engineering to improve build pipelines, branch strategies, and delivery systems to ensure stability, automation and compliance
- Run cross-functional release coordination meetings with production, QA, engineering, marketing, and publishing teams to ensure readiness and alignment.
- Act as a liaison to first-party platforms to manage submissions and approvals.
- Proactively identify risks and blockers early, implementing solutions to keep releases on track.
- Stay ahead of compliance and certification requirements across all supported platforms and territories.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level release managers, promote best practices and consistent execution across the team.
- Help shape the studio’s release strategy and standards as we grow, supporting scalable and efficient workflows.
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of experience in release management, build engineering, or related technical operations roles.
- You're deeply familiar with platform submission pipelines and requirements for console and PC platforms.
- You have hands-on experience with build automation and version control tools and software.
- You’re proactive and solution-oriented and able to spot issues early and you thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment .
- You're a clear communicator who can lead meetings, synthesize complex release plans, and align cross-functionals teams.
- You enjoy mentoring and empowering others on the team while helping level up release processes overall.
- Bonus: You’ve shipped live service games or worked in studios with frequent or multi-platform updates.

Practical Information
Scope: Full-time: 40 hours per week with initial 6 month probation period.
Location: Office first, hybrid solution possible. You need to be eligible to work in Sweden.
We are a pet friendly office! You can expect to find dogs and occasionally some cats around.
