We are now looking for a Senior Technical Artist
As a Senior Technical Artist, you will be the bridge between art and technology, turning creative vision into optimized, beautiful, and functional game content. You’ll build tools, solve complex technical challenges, and help artists work more efficiently, ensuring our games look stunning and run smoothly.
What you will do
Monitor, flag, and communicate concerns between artistic goals and technical limitations within the development pipeline;
Collaborate closely with content creators (level designers, artists, audio teams) to solve technical problems;
Develop and maintain tools and shaders that improve the efficiency of the art team;
Provide technical feedback and support to artists;
Keep our development setup at the cutting edge by staying on top of industry trends.
Who you are
We're looking for someone with a passion for helping others. You bridge the gap between tech and art, and are proactively providing solutions that empower others to create performant content and features.
Minimum 5 years experience in the games industry from a similar role (AA or AAA).
Have experience of a full AA/AAA dev cycle from conception to release and are familiar with the technical challenges involved.
Strong initiative, a can-do attitude and problem-solving oriented.
Be able to work very independently and assume responsibility.
Solid understanding of PBR.
Proven skills in tools creation and have a knack for optimizing artistic workflows.
Solid understanding of procedural generation.
Strong proficiency in HLSL and Python.
Solid proficiency in coding languages like C++, C#.
Proficiency in 3D Modelling software like Maya or Blender.
Strong debugging skills, being able to, through a methodical approach, find errors in code and shaders.
Being able to profile, find and solve performance bottlenecks.
Strong collaborative and communication skills across disciplines.
Great English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Practical Information
Scope: Full-time: 40 hours per week with initial 6 month probation period.
Location: Sweden, Office first, hybrid solution possible.
We are a pet friendly office! You can expect to find dogs and occasionally some cats around.
